Why volunteer?

We all know that volunteering can be fun: you meet new people, do something you enjoy and at the same time make a contribution to your community. But there are many other reasons why you might want to get involved.

Did you know that volunteering can be good for your health? Did you know that volunteering can open new doors – whether that is to new hobbies or new career paths. Volunteering can make you feel proud of yourself, proud that you have helped others. Confidence and self esteem can improve and developing a routine can prepare you for going back to work.
